Becoming a member of Virginia Stage Company means you become a contributing member to the very foundation of our 44 year old theater community. Without the support of members, who by committing to our wonderful seasons year after year, we wouldn’t be able to bring the kind of world-class theatre our humble and historic Wells Theater has come to be known for.

Want to bring your friends and family to a show? Enjoy 10% off each of their adult tickets, including our Season Extra, A Merry Little Christmas Carol.
MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS
Enclosed in your membership packet is a VSC Member Discount Card, which gives you discounts to many of Norfolk’s best dining spots and other arts organizations. Pick a location to have dinner before or after the show, with a discount on us!
LOST TICKET INSURANCE
If your season tickets are lost or stolen, just give our Box Office team a call at 757.627.1234, and they’ll replace them for you for free.
TICKET EXCHANGE
You can exchange regularly-scheduled membership season seats for another showing of the same production by calling the box office at any time. Seating is based on availability. Upgrade fees may apply.

DONATION OF UNUSED TICKETS
Unable to use your tickets? Don’t worry; you can return them to our Box Office and receive a tax credit receipt for their full value.
ACCESSIBILITY
For our guests using wheelchairs, platform seating is available in the rear orchestra. Complimentary Assisted Listening Devices are also available at every show to enhance stage dialogue. On the second Saturday evening of each production, we provide an American Sign Language interpreter.

Need a package with more flexibility?
A Theatre-On-Demand Member will receive vouchers that can be used in any configuration they choose, e.g. all at once or spread throughout the entire season, in addition to all the perks of being a VSC member. Just call the Box Office to select your day and time and then exchange your vouchers for tickets at Will Call when you arrive for your performance.
VSC Young Professionals Membership
We know that theater serves all types of members of the community and we also know that young professionals have historically been the group most interested in theater, while also having to overcome the most barriers. To help overcome those challenges, VSC provides a wonderfully accessible and engaging Young Professionals Membership Package.
Individuals in the Hampton Roads area, ages 20 - 45, are welcome to opt into this First Friday performance membership. Among the usual benefits outlined above, the membership also includes:

HR Pride Night Out Membership
Theatre has always been a place for members of the LGTQIAA+ community to connect, network, and thrive in a society that historically doesn’t celebrate differences or otherness. From these communities, we achieved some of the greatest art our field has ever seen, and we want that art to continue to foster communities and spaces of positiver understanding, togetherness, and inclusion. Our Hampton Roads Pride Night Out Membership, in partnership with Hampton Roads Pride, brings professionals across the LGBTQIAA+ spectrum together against the backdrop of exciting live theatre to find friends, build community, and foster a culture of understanding and love that begins in our Historic Wells Theater.
Members can enjoy the standard benefits of our Memberships, as well as exclusive invitations to LGBTQIAA+ Networking events.
