Memory, Trauma, and the Holocaust: A Symposium on The Diary of Anne Frank

In conjunction with Old Dominion University's Institute for Jewish Studies and Interfaith Understanding

Panel discussion to highlight recent historical discoveries, research and scholarship regarding Anne's diaries and writings. Structured for educators, students and the general public. Panel speakers include author Farideh Goldin, Simon Shetreet (former Knesset member) and Chris Hanna (VSC Artistic Director).Free Admission.

• October 3, 2010 Rabbi Michael Panitz, Temple Israel, Renewed Relevance of The Diary of Anne Frank
• October 10, 2010 Rabbi Israel Zoberman, Congregation Beth Chaverim, the importance of Anne Frank's story and its continued relevance to today's society
